Ho anche l'edizione italiana di tutti e sette i libri, ma, non c'è assolutamente sfida, questa la supera di gran lunga anche se in versione brossura. Copertina flessibile bellissima al tatto con contenuti fronte/retro, colori più caldi, elementi e caratteri curatissimi in embossing. Impaginazione eccellente. Crenatura del serif rigorosamente rispettata soprattutto nei titoli ad ogni capitolo (nella versione italiana la questione caratteri è un vero disastro). Non c'è una sola pagina lasciata vuota ed è pieno di informazioni illustrate e dettagliate su praticamente tutto e di più, anche sull'autore delle illustrazioni. Ho preso soltanto il primo numero per curiosità e ripasso della lingua, ma ho già l' irrefrenabile voglia di averli tutti. Complimenti all'editore. Libro ricevuto in condizioni ottime.

L'edizione è ben curata, copertina soft-touch. Libro preso per iniziare a leggere in inglese, iniziato da poco.

Volevo dare una ripassata al mio inglese e quindi ho pensato di comprare il mio libro preferito in lingua originale. Tra qualche anno lo darò a mia figlia, il livello di inglese è abbastanza semplice

Dopo aver letto e amato i libri in Italiano e aver visto i film decine di volte, ho deciso di rileggere l'intera saga ma stavolta in lingua originale. È semplicemente fantastico e sembra di immergersi ancora di più in una delle saghe più belle della letteratura fantastica!

I am pushing 30's but I still love Harry potter like I did when I was a teenager and today I gave it as a gift to a teenager who is new to the book world. The books arrived in a perfect condition, timely delivery, well packed and along with a book mark. None of pages are missing and the paper quality is too good no speck of yellow is seen even the print is good. The conversation carried out between Ron Hermione and Harry through letters are printed in different fonts and the rest in different which gives the whole book an interesting look. The new readers can feel the conversation actually happening in their mind like a play on radio.

Awesome book best ever book i have ever seen in such printing and design.
Original Quality printed edition of BLOOMBURY which i got from seller named "Book Selection Centre" Best seller i seen on Amazon.

Please note do not buy from seller named "Inetrade India" they are giving fake, ultra low quality books and wrong books. I suffered for a month because of them.

This was a repurchase for me as my original Harry Potter book is battered from years of reading. I've reread this book since and of course, I loved it. The beginning can be a little slow for younger readers as a lot of it is not in the movies, but the remaining 85% is and can be completely imagined throughout. I like the fact most of the original dialogue was translated into movies which is something I've noticed since rereading as an adult. Lovely start to the fabulous series and I am buying the full set to have a newer looking set on my shelf!
The artwork on the cover is so much better than the original book which is red. There are illustrations around the chapter headings too which adds a special something. The paper in this book is a lot firmer and of better quality. It's bigger in length than my original one by about 100 pages but that's probably just a printing difference. There isn't anything additional. I think there was a map in the front of mine but I 'm unsure.

Fab read of course.

Review H.P. ? - I can't do that!

My Granddaughter has been asking me for my copy of Harry Potter Book 1, but I know my daughter only too well and I know if my copy goes to their house, in all likelihood it won't be back into mine, hence the purchase! I'm sure H.P. doesn't need a review by me, just to say that children need magic in their lives, as do we all really, and H.P. surely satisfies that need. I know too that J.K. Rowling originally intended that the books would be read by the same age children as Harry is in the book - Book 1 aged 10-11 and so on. (does a Grandma of %# years count?)
My Granddaughter is 8yrs old but her 12 year old cousin has read all bar books 6 &7 and she thinks she can too. I'm sure if she finds them hard to understand then she will stop reading them. I'm happy she's reading, she's happy to read H.P. & the Philosophers Stone. All is well!

So, as a blind person, I've got both narrations of the Harry Potter books so why spend money on the Kindle copies? Well, I think the answer to that is that I just love returning to join Harry and his friends in the wizarding world and with having access to Kindle through Alexa I felt I might as well go right ahead and purchase them on Kindle.

I just love this book right from the start and even though it isn't as exciting and edge of your seat as the other books are, yet there is that excitement you feel along with Harry in Chapter 4 when Hagrid turns up in the shack during the storm to give him the good news and I don't think any Harry Potter fan could ever fail to feel the excitement along with Harry as he and Hagrid go to Diagon Alley and he buys his books and other material he'll need for his time at Hogwarts. I love it when his vault at Gringots is opened and he sees all the money his parents have left him. I love the background we get to the Dursleys in the first chapter and the description of the day which eventually leads to his arrival at Privet Drive. As we read this book, we need to be aware how little Harry knows and we get an idea of how he's feeling as he awaits his sorting on his arrival at the school. As the Dursleys fight a losing battle when the letters start coming (and increasing with each delivery, ending with about a hundred at the hotel, you just know that, even though they're eventually in a place where Uncle Vernon's certain they won't be disturbed, that by hook or by crook Dumbledore will eventually get him to Hogwarts. As he tells Mrs Cole in Book 6, they'll be taking Tom Riddle away whatever. So Harry begins this roller coaster adventure throughout the seven books and he will not only need his friends but all the magical training he can get, especially in Defence against the dark arts which will be important as he must face the wizard who has not only attempted to kill him but has eluded capture by the Ministry of Magic.
